I have been meaning to write a post on narration but I have been cogitating on how to write it that I still had not.
I have been doing narration with Zach for a few months now and have been enjoying it. I find it so enlightening to hear how your child internalizes and understands a story.
It is a very profitable exercise for the mind as it forces your mind to recall the facts and events of the story, and then articulate them in new sentences.
I have been wanting to diversify the way we do narration in our homeschool, but had been stuck for ideas. So far I had done oral narration and picture narration. My search is now over as I came across this great post by Richele @ Under the Golden Apple Tree, that articulates a great deal of ways to do narration, so, thought I would share it.
Here is a video of one of his narration (only if you are interested. It's cute but slow!).
Have a great day and happy narrating.
