Weekly wrap-up

Another week has passed by. I have to say it was a good week because we had sun through out. That does not mean we took advantage of it much, but hey, having sun beaming in the house is really nice.

We did have a playdate on Tuesday, which meant time outside, which the kids really enjoyed.

Academically we covered our subjects, spelling, geography, Science, Reading, English. Our Singapore Math is done and I am contemplating getting Profesor B Math in the very near future. I will still continue with Singapore Math 2 but add Professor B to it.

We also made cookies and cake this week as well as some crafts.

The highlight of the week was Zach listening to Huckeberry Finn on audio book, following along in the book, 5 times in the week. Last night, he decided to start on Tom Sawyer (we had bought it for him, with his agreement, on Monday). What 6 year old  reads the unabridged version of Tom Sawyer?

I am short this week as I am feeling really tired exploring curriculum.

Veritas Press  is a long lasting Christian classical homeschool curriculum company. They have served the homeschool communities for a long time. Our latest review items was a gem. We received a DVD from the Dive Into Your Imagination series. If you have never heard about it, I am here to tell you about it.
