I think, thanks to the crew, that I have stumbled upon a gem. You see I love to sing, I have always sung, especially in choirs and bands. However, I have never been able to train my voice as I would have loved to, that is through formal training in a voice school. Well, I was finally given that chance through this last review product: Vocal Coach . What is Vocal Coach? Vocal Coach is a collection of vocal and singing training products produced by Christ and Carole Beatty, who have 40 years of experience in the field. One of our last products on the review crew this year came from Grace and Truth Books . We were given a choice of one the many books that they carry, and I picked one for parents untitled: Your Child's Profession of Faith . I am very glad I did. I have said it here on this blog, but this is just so much the case that it bears repeating: the internet and the homeschool community abound with online educational resource  We were yet again blessed with another, relatively new on the market, online program to review. ZooWhiz is an educational Math and Reading program for kids ages 5-15 . As the name suggests there is a zoo and therefore an animal element to the program. As kids go through the program, which consists of exercises in Language Arts and Math, they accumulate coins which they can in turn use to purchase animals for their virtual Zoo or to play games. So, basically with ZooWhiz your child becomes a zoo keeper by buying animals to build up his own Zoo. At the Zoo shop the animals are organized by habitat which makes it easier to find the ones you are looking for. They all vary in prices of course, so if your child wants a particular animal he's gonna have to work hard to accumulate the amount needed. ...

One of our latest review product on the crew this season has made it to the list of my favorite products: Family Time Fitness. I do not know about you, but physical education has not been on my top priority list as I homeschool my kids. That said, I do recognize that both the kids and I could use serious exercise. I have one child you loves to move and does so 24/7 and one that is not so athletic (at least not yet). I was really excited to get this product for review. I have to say I was not disappointed. This Phys. Ed. product is perfect for the homeschool family that wishes to add Physical Education into their schedule. In the past month we have received Vocabulary Spelling City to review. If you have never heard about Spelling City, you have missed a germ when it comes to online educational sites. My boys do not like spelling, and this is one subject I am having difficulty to fit into our schedule. I was very happy to receive this to review, as anything that can help in this area is more than welcome. So, what is Spelling City ? We were yet again blessed with another Math curriculum to review this summer. This most recent,  Math Made Easy , is really a program set up to help students master their Math Facts, so it can be used in any grade, but targets elementary levels. We picked the Multiplication set as this were we are in our current Math education, and my boys' multiplication facts mastering is more than lacking. I was glad to receive this product and give it a try. I have to say I love it. It is worksheet oriented along with flash cards drills and some games, but somehow the way it is set up, it is not tedious at all. The day's worksheet page is very reasonable and achievable. My boys did not mind at all. This program is indeed very easy to use. It consists of a 72-pages book, made up of worksheets, games and flash cards to be cut out.
