We just discovered the real Thomas the Tank Engine Story Collection this year and my son absolutely loves it too! It's better than any electronic gizmo we could buy. Great on car trips too!

Great list, Joelle! My children especially enjoyed the Dr. Seuss books, Arnold Lobel books, and Curious George books. They also loved anything by Richard Scarry.
