It' wrap-up time. I do not have much to report this week.
Johann's birthday went well on Monday.
That was Zach after a strike:

The rest of the week we tried to cover most subjects, Math, English, Handwriting, Science, Geography, even spelling, Thanks to Big Iq Kids. Nothing earth chatteiring. We started studying substraction with regrouping and that was a bit of a challenge. Hope fully it will get there.
Our electives with our honeschool gtoup started this week as well, and I had to teach French.
The boys have been playing nicely together, which is nice. Zach's violin is going well as well and he is moving on into his Suzuki pieces at a reasonable speed and improving his technique nicely. He starting to understand the need for repeated practice of certain part of the piece.
Otherwise it has been a quiet week although I still feel drained, I am not sure why. I think I am a bit frustrated at Zach's train's obsession and my lack of discipline.
I really need to get more control of the day and need to find a better routine, the current one does not seem to allow me to do everything I would want to do.
Anyway, enough ranting and onto an attitude of thankfulness for the Lord's numerous blessings.
Before I forget, I did make that ziggurat cake and here it:
