For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Around the Web

I've decided to renew my weekly post about sharing posts that I find on the net which I enjoyed reading.

For this week:
"The best of Christian thinking has always recognized we are pilgrims traveling to the city of God. While we have many joys and duties in this life, we understand present existence against the backdrop of our ultimate destiny as believers---to see God one day. Keeping one eye on heaven, or the vision of God, need not diminish the importance of life in the world. On the contrary, knowledge that life in the world is part of a larger and grander story---which culminates in the vision and city of God---can be a constant reminder that life in the here and now is important, meaningful, and weighty."
"What a startling realization, that our children's experiences with work can have such a profound impact on their future ability to earn a living! And how, exactly, does a homeschooling family teach work?"
  • For those in the US here is a site that will ship you Butterfly larvae for the only cost of the shipping: Butterfly Lady
