Random 5 on Friday

The Pebble Pond

It's Friday and time for a random 5 run down.

1. It's December, the Christmas tree is up.


2. We still have school for a couple of weeks before we take off for Christmas. We did finish our Writing Curriculum from Classical Academic Press (Writing and Rhetoric Book 2). We will start book 3 in January.


3. I have started copywork exercices again. This time we are using Scripture as our base. 3 Goals:
  • Memorization
  • Spelling practice
  • Handwriting practice
I am using Write Through the Bible from Intoxicated For Life, but you can get some nice ones as well from Homeschool Copywork.

4. Zach finished the Biology course with Standard Deviant, now we are going through the free Biology course from Classic Science. He is liking it so far.


5. My oldest, Zach had a birthday last Saturday. Can't believe he is 11 already and entering a new stage. Wow, am I ready for this? That said so thankful to God for Him and what he is preparing him to be by His grace.

Veritas Press  is a long lasting Christian classical homeschool curriculum company. They have served the homeschool communities for a long time. Our latest review items was a gem. We received a DVD from the Dive Into Your Imagination series. If you have never heard about it, I am here to tell you about it.
