For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

The Homeschool Village- Back to School Traditions

It's been a while since I participated in the Homeschool Village Link up. I am back this week.

This week's question is: How do you celebrate Back to Homeschooling?

This is our 3rd year homeschooling and we have not developed any tradition yet for back-to school. However, this year I've decided to make it special and start one. It is going to be composed of 2 elements:

  1. Since our school week starts on a Tuesday (because of Monday being Daddy's day off - being a pastor), the Monday before back-to school day we will take a day trip somewhere. This year it is going to be to the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY.

  2. On back to school day the kids will get to pick their breakfast, lunch and dinner dish.

So, what are your Back-to-School traditions. Link up @ The Homeschool Village.

PS: We are starting next week, so I'll update this post then with the pics.
