It's Friday and time for a weekly wrap-up again. Today is also our last school day for this segment of our yearly schedule. As some of you might know, we homeschool year round, and break up for a week every 4 - 6 weeks. It's been 5 weeks since we started back after New Year and we are all ready for a break.
Our break will be a good time to work on our project for our homeschool group project fair coming up in March.
So, looking back now, what did we do this week?,
Monday we had a nice family day. With daddy back at work I guess we will have to go back to taking Mondays off school, as Monday is Daddy's day off (he is a pastor). We went skating, or should I say, we took the kids skating.
Tuesday was a good school day, that is, we had minimal resistance and accomplished our work. We even got to bake and eat cookies.
The rest of the week was pretty straight forward with our subjects being covered and the normal amount of student cooperation.
Wednesday I took them out for a few minutes to enjoy the minimal amount of snow that had fallen the night before. Neither of the kids or myself are very happy with this winter since we are hardly getting any snow. Winter used to be Zach's favorite season but it seems that he is rethinking that these days. What's the deal with cold without snow???
Thursday we had a nice trip to the library and returned with, let me go and count, 26 books; that's on top of the 20 odd books already in the house. My boys loves books, especially is they are about trucks, trains, police, emergency, search and rescue, they devour them.
And for the pictures:

This week I also started thinking about our curriculum for next year and am pondering on the science one. Any suggestion is welcome.
Voila, that was our week in a few words and pictures. How was your week? For more weekly wrap-up go check Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers.
Have a great day,
