A visit to the dentist

Yesterday was Zach's first visit to the  dentist and he seemed to have had much fun. He told me later that he wanted to go back. He's got his bottom permanent teeth coming behind his baby teeth. The dentist gave him 2-3 weeks for him to try to wiggle them out, otherwise he will have to take them out. Apparently this is quite common. Have a great day

Weekly Wrap-up

It's been quite a while since my last weekly wrap-up so I thought it would be good to give an update as to what my boys have been up too. School wise we are moving along in our different subjects. Since Zach has finished his Singapore Primary Math A, I decided to give a try to this curriculum called Professor B (which is the curriculum that comes before Life of Fred). So far I am pleased with it. Do not ask my son, he does not like doing anything that requires effort, diligence and focus. I can see the potential of this curriculum though. I was hoping to complete it with both boys at the same time, but unfortunately that was short lived. Joho decided it was too much for him, so so far, it is just Zach and I. I plan on continuing with professor B until June, and then do Professor B in conjunction with Singapore Primary Math B when we start back in August. First Language Lessons is slow going but I am really hoping to finish it by June, so that we can move on to something else in

Sunday Hymn

Hear the Call of the Kingdom by Keith Getty Hear the call of the kingdom Lift your eyes to the King Let His song rise within you As a fragrant offering Of how God rich in mercy Came in Christ to redeem All who trust in His unfailing grace Hear the call of the Kingdom To be children of light With the mercy of heaven The humility of Christ Walking justly before Him Loving all that is right That the life of Christ may shine through us (Chorus) King of Heaven we will answer the call We will follow bringing hope to the world Filled with passion, filled with power to proclaim Salvation in Jesus' name Hear the call of the Kingdom To reach out to the lost With the Father's compassion In the wonder of the cross Bringing peace and forgiveness And a hope yet to come Let the nations put their trust in Him Have a great day,

Wedding anniversary

I have been taking a bit of a blog break, but I had to post about how happy I am to be able to celebrate our 8th year wedding anniversary . (It was actually yesterday). The Lord has been so good to us. Eight years, wow time flies. I am so blessed to have a husband like mine, God fearing, loving and extremely supportive. We had a great, kid-free evening (thanks to some friends), and really enjoyed the time together. Looking forwards to many more years as the Lord sees fit. . . Have a great day,
