Sunday Hymn

Glory Be to God On High Words and music by Bob Kauflin As recorded on  Savior: Celebrating the Mystery of God Become Man Lyrics Glory be to God on high Let peace on earth descend God comes down before our eyes To Bethlehem God invisible appears Endless ages wrapped in years He has come who cannot change And Jesus is His name Emptied of His majesty He comes in human form Being’s source begins to be And God is born All our griefs He’ll gladly share All our sins He’ll fully bear He will cover our disgrace And suffer in our place Let the joyful news ring out The Prince of Peace proclaim Lift your heart and voice to shout Immanuel’s name God has kept His promises What a work of grace this is Son of Mary, chosen One The Lamb of God has come Hosanna, hosanna The Lamb of God has come Hosanna, hosanna He is the promised One Glory be to God on high Let peace on earth descend God comes down before our eyes To Bethlehem © 2006 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI).

What's happening around here

Well . .. Zach had a birthday . . . my oldest son is now 7, how time flies . . . The christmas tree is up . .. We have a place to move to . . . no moving date yet, but definitely before the 2nd of January. We have been doing some school, since it has been very eratic in the past month or so. Zach is learning Jingle bells on his violin. We had a great time in Michigan where the boys enjoyed their first snow on the 1st of December Dad had a great time in Tortola (British Virgin Island) We've made cookies, and Pate de noel and a gingerbread house. The boys got to sing with the other kids in the homeschool group at 2 seniors' home We've started some packing . . . We've been doing devotions leading up to the birth of Christ using a format taken from Disciplines of a Godly Family. That's about it .  . . oh, except for the nice farewell luncheon our current church hosted for us yesterday:

Sunday Hymn

A Covenant of grace (Severeign Grace Music) The wonder of Your mercy Lord The beauty of Your grace That You would even pardon me And bring me to this place I stand before Your holiness I can only stand amazed The sinless Savior died to make A covenant of grace I only want to serve you Bring honor to Your name Though often I have failed You Your faithfulness remains I'll glory in my weakness That I might know Your strength I will live my life at the Cross of Christ And raise a banner to proclaim You welcome us before You Into this holy place The brilliance of Your glory Demands our endless praise The One the only Savior Has opened heaven's doors We can enter in free from all our sin By Your cleansing sacrifice
