Previously I have shared our curriculum , and my week by week year plan . I have also come up, with a weekly schedule, which I thought I would share and  a list of books that I am going to use from the library for science and arts and crafts, which are mainly gonna be hands on stuff. I am still doing some planning for our homeschool. Again, planning is still something new to me, so it is taking me some time to get it all organized in my head and then transferred to paper. I have recently came across so many ideas that I would like to implement that it is going to haywire my brain very soon. (Hope not). Stuff that are on my mind include Introducing more memory work, Try again a reward system to encourage diligence and responsibility Work on our homeschool room or walls I should say, since we do not really have a dedicated room (visuals and the like) Making up my own French curriculum (started; I am using the Prima Latina student text as my template; I love it), Incorporating a reading/quiet afternoon time Do some lapbook/notebooking/posters Meanwhile, Zach and I have been working on some crafts and science projects. Kris over @ Weird, unsocialized Homeschooler hosts a weekly wrap-up and I thought I would join in this week. This week was our back-to school week and over all I think it went well. We actually started Tuesday because we had guests over on Monday. I was a bit anxious that I was going to get some reluctance but I have to say, Zach impressed me in that he did his best at not complaining and being somewhat diligent . Beside, obedience, diligence in one single value and character trait that we really have to work hard at teaching him . He hates work and effort with a passion. So, overall, he did what he was supposed to with not too much fighting and as en encouragement and reward, he was getting a sticker after each subject. He kind of liked that. Wednesday, after school was done, we went to a playdate, which of course they both enjoyed. And mom enjoyed some fellowship time. I have been very excited to be receiving some comments these days. It is so encouraging, and I am very thankful to those of you who do leave me a note. I have been working on putting together a household binder to keep all my home and homeschooling related papers in one place, easy to locate. So, here is what I have done so far. I have divided a binder into sections to include: a Household section which has things such as schedules for me, chore charts, planning forms, budget and printouts about keeping house, organizing etc ... Homeschool section which has my school schedules and forms  and everything school planning oriented. Homework section which includes their school and non-school accomplishments and activities as well as their certificates. I also have 2 separate sections. One with inspiring and encouraging printouts, goals etc... as a homemaker and wife, and one with thoughts and printouts on homeschooling.
